Latest news MBS Cup Time Trials - last minute change [Mon Jun 13 16:11:39 PDT 2011] Please take note that, during today’s inspection of the regular time trial course for the Mike’s Bike Shop Cup, we quickly came to the realization it was not up to standard and in very poor condition in some section. After careful consideration, we decided to move this year’s time trial to Dover Road in Dieppe.
The start will take place from Dover Park, head out 8 km on Dover Road towards Pré-D’en-Haut, and back for a total of 16 km; the same distance as last year. See the map attached. Please use the Dover Park parking lot, and not the Golden Age Club one for this event.
Thank you for understanding the many changes we had to do this season, due to various reasons. Keep in mind the safety of the participants is always our first item of concern during those events. ... A large adjustment has been made! Dan Richard is in fact our new leader in the general classification and will be wearing the Apogée leader's jersey with a whopping 205 points. This slides Patrice Boudreau into second and Pierre McIntyre into third. Sorry for the Dan mix up! Click here for the adjusted results of the general classifications.

On the general classification, Pierre McIntyre will now be wearing the Apogée leader's jersey with 165 points. Daniel Richard is not far behind with 150 while Patrice Boudreau now sits in 3rd with 125 points. Here is the actual GC after 2 weeks of competition.
Photos of week two are visible here. A cool video is also available here.
Take note that next week, we will conclude the mountain bike portion of the MBS Cup. This will push the time trials back a week (so to be held on June 14, 21, and 28). For the moment, we will set the first two Cross Country events for the 24th and 31st (May) and we will get back with a decision on the 3rd XC event (it will take place, don't worry).
Sorry again, but these are extraordinary circumstance, and we need to preserve our trails for the rest of the season. ... [+]maximize Well, I never thought I'd have to do this once, let alone twice! [-]minimize Mike's Bike Shop Cup - Week 1 postponed [Mon May 9 10:21:12 PDT 2011] We did announce the trails were dry (and they were), but the rain we got over the past few days and what we’re expecting over the next 24 hours is forcing us to postpone the start of the 2011 Mike’s Bike Shop Cup. Wanting to be environmentally friendly with our trail system in Dieppe’s St-Anselme’s park (50 cyclists X 6 laps mean a lot of wheels in the mud!), we will simply push the cross country section of the series a week later. The three events will now be taking place on May 17, 24 and 31 and the time trial events will go on as schedule initially (June 7, 14 and 21).
Registration for the series is still possible here. We encourage everyone to do so to save time on the first night.
