CentreThe Centre’s objective is to promote the development of Atlantic Canadian athletes in the disciplines of mountain biking, road and track in preparation for international level competition. In an effort to attain this objective, the Centre provides athletes with highly-competent coaches as well as training conditions which favor their development. The Dieppe advantageDieppe (outskirts of the Greater Moncton) is the fastest growing urban centre in the country. With a young and active population, Dieppe is very well situated geographically at the centre of the Maritime Provinces and in proximity of the major cities of the region. Its airport, now with an international rating, is a major asset to the region. With a past full of successes in terms of cycling development in New Brunswick, this region was, for many years, cycling's nerve centre of the Maritime Provinces. Today, many important programs are part of this community. It is the case of the "Pepsi Cup" that attracts more the 150 young cyclists (from 10 to 15 years old) on a weekly basis for the past seven years. With the arrival of such Centre in the area, these young cyclists already represent the active potential of the 2008 generation! These young cyclists will benefit of a unique infrastructure in the Atlantic provinces. This Centre will greatly contribute to a change in the way of thinking for our young athletes and will offer a clearer and more elevated vision for their objectives. The title "Olympic" will no longer be a simple unreachable dream for our young cyclists. Philosophy

Programs offered by the Centre
The National Cycling Centre – Atlantic Canada is on the leading edge by being the first to adapt its programs according to the CCA’s LTAD (Long Term Athlete Development). 2007 marked a transitional year in the way we deliver programs at the National Cycling Centre. In January, I proposed the Centre Long Term Plan, which reflected that new way to deliver cycling programs in Atlantic Canada according to the LTAD.
Centre CorporationThe managment of the Centre will be the work of a corporation. It is formed of the following partners and persons:
